The 4th Annual Sidney Poitier Film Festival

The Sidney Poitier Film Festival was established by the School of English Studies at The College of The Bahamas as a means of honoring the achievements of a great Bahamian actor and filmmaker, Sidney Poitier.  Our aim is to preserve his legacy for future generations of Bahamians.

The festival takes place each year in late February.  All films are screened free to the public and are viewed at The College of The Bahamas Nassau Campus, Oakes Field.
